Numbers That Get Us to Next

The University of Tennessee System powers the state in a myriad of ways. In addition to the $4.8 billion economic impact the System has on Tennessee, research funding has reached $481 million. These funds help advance clean energy technologies at Chattanooga and support construction of a state-of-the-art engineering research facility in Knoxville. With a presence in all 95 counties, the UT System is far-reaching—improving the lives of all of our 5.3 million citizens.

Everywhere you look, UT has enhanced our economy.
